Leopold Stokowski

Leopold Stokowski during a rehearsal with the Rochester Philharmonic at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, New York. The public was invited to bring their lunches during these noon-hour sessions to help with the acoustics in the theater. I chose this back view of Leopold over all the others, much the way the audience sees conductors. People who are familiar with Leopold can easily recognize him.
